Founded by Stephen Nickse in 1987, Closet Solutions came about as a result of his thinking that a specialized closet business would be preferable to the general contracting and homebuilding he had previously been occupied with. After a time in the closet business Nickse met Jacqueline Cherenza, fell in love, and they got married. Jacqueline, with her business degree and nationwide commercial development experience has worked at Closet Solutions as C.O.E. (chief of everything) for many years. Our independent business status allows unhindered creativity in pursuit of closet perfection. Together we appreciate our dedicated staff who help us
every day in pursuit of that goal.

We are charter members of The National Closet Group, (NCG) a professional association that brings together the top closet companies in the dynamic custom home storage and organization industry. Member closet companies are carefully selected from each market based on their commitment to customer service, product quality, revenue growth, and desire to actively participate in the development of new and innovative products. Each closet company is approved by a membership committee and must sign a code of ethics upon joining.
